Coaching business leaders and professionals with significant organisational and personal transition agendas. Including developing presence and impact, shifting self-awareness, self management and working with interpersonal dynamics.
Facilitating strategic leadership and team development interventions, Alison helps leaders navigate uncertainty, clarify business purpose, strengthen working relationships and create the building blocks for system alignment.
Engaging in individual and team profiling, she brings her experience in assessment and development, particularly Management Due Diligence work for Private Equity investors.
Starting in the heavy manufacturing industry, Alison now works across sectors with global brands. She has worked with NATO, Central Government bodies (MoD, Cabinet Office, Treasury, DEFRA, DWP), UK Health Service organisations, BSkyB, CitiBank, Centrica Energy, EoN, Anglo American, Samsung, Dell EMC, VMware, Grass Valley. Alison has been approved as a coach for a number of organisations, most recently, Johnson Matthey and UK Central Government.
Alison combines the ability to work at a very detailed level and at a strategic level, maintaining a focus on the broader organisational and business context. Intellectually strong, her work is completely focused on provoking client learning in service of achieving clear goals. Her coaching clients comment on her ability to listen and provoke insight; her creativity, and that she stretches them beyond their ‘comfort zone’; and asks ‘extremely challenging questions’.</p.
Alison’s curiosity, ambition and depth makes her approach to coaching work highly flexible and fluid, drawing on a breadth of interventions to make the right impact at the right time. With a career underpinned by her Doctorate, awarded in her early 20s, exploring the Employment Relationship and Organisational Design; she is passionate about making a difference by facilitating wise leadership and is well known as a contributor in her professional circles. Alison describes herself as a serial entrepreneur in the world of coaching and leadership, and is part of a team leading the design and role out of an innovative technology platform designed to develop emotional intelligence at scale.
Qualifications: Alison is professionally qualified as a Chartered and Registered Psychologist, an accredited Master of Change with La Marsh & Associates, holds a foundation in counselling from Regents College (London) and is accredited to use WAVE, Hogan Deveopment Series, Cognitive Process Profile). She is a frequent contributor to professional texts, peer reviewed journals in her field and is just completing her third book.
